SOMETHING TO CONSIDER
When people are satisfied with your performance, less than .01% (Point-Zero of 1%) go online and write about it. Thats 1 out of every 1,000 people. Less than .01% call you up to say THANK YOU. This doesn’t mean they are not thankful. It just means they don’t feel the need to tell the world their personal feelings. Instead, what they do is this. (1) They tell all their friends and (2) They become a repeat client. This is why we are so big, so popular and so successful. We are highly recommended in the Northeast for upscale, premium, yet affordable, limousine service.
But let's look at the GIANT in the room. :) We received 23 negative reviews on Yelp between the 8 years of 2010-2018. That is a lot! Then we took a closer look. We were also doing 300,000 - 400,000 people in those 8 years. Getting only 23 negative reviews showed us 3 things:
(1) Our negative reviews were much less than 1 negative review out of every 1,000 satisfied people.)
(2) We were doing an awesome job! During those years our fleet size tripled and our maximum # of Celebrities in a one-week period was 40! They were in our cars every week!
(3) We also learned there was much room for improvement!! When our staff would make errors, it actually helped us to create a better structure. And so, we fired a lot! We also opened Celebrity Chauffeur, our own Chauffeur School. We trained more. We created guarantees like ON TIME of FREE. If our vehicle was 30 seconds late, the trip was FREE. We got better at cleanliness. We opened our Auto Salon. Then our own Mechanic Shop too. We started doing preventative maintenance. Then we opened a Coach Building division that not only built buses, but it also was used to fix anything in our fleet that needed to get fixed. We also realized we were growing at a super-fast rate, so we hired more management to balance the ship. The bottom line, our reviews didn’t put us out of business. We learned from them and got better.
AS OF APRIL 8, 2025
You can clearly see that our online reviews have dramatically improved. On most of the popular online platforms like Google, Facebook, Wedding Wire, the Knot etc... we have not received more than 1 negative review in the last 8-9 years. A huge differance! Your opinion of us matters becasue we take pride in what we do!
13 REASONS WHY A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT SHOULD BE FILED AGAINST YELP:
REASON 1
Yelp has over 30 posotive reviews about us that are not reflected in our rating. This happed when we stopped advertising with them. That is discrimination.
REASON 2
They post our negative reviews and hide our good ones? That is fraudulant. To see these reviews all you have to do is go to their review section, scroll down where you can see pages 1-2-3-4 and you will see a link that says OTHER REVIEWS THAT ARE NOT CURRENTLY RECOMMENDED.
REASON 3
Throughtout the years, we have even asked hundreds of clients who absolutely LOVE US to go to Yelp and post a review. So they did. But Yelp did not post their review! What kind of a rigged scam is that?
REASON 4
According to their guidelines, Yelp controls the right to post a review if it is "not consistent with all the other reviews". (So how do we go from NEGATIVE reviews to POSOTIVE? They created a formula to make it what? Impossible? The is discrimination.
REASON 5
According to their guidelines, Yelp controls the right to post a review if they think it is "useful". Who are they to determine if our satified clients opinions of us are "useful"? Once again, discrimination.
REASON 6
According to their guidelines, Yelp controls the right to post a review if the Yelp User is not active enough. So therefore, our satisfied clients cannot post an authentic review of us, if Yelp doesnt think they engage enough on their platform?
REASON 7
According to their guidelines, Yelp controls the right to post a review if they think a Yelper is unreliable or unuseful. It seems like Yelp wants to turn their platform into a Social Media kind of app like FB, Insta, or X or TikTok, and if the Yelper doesnt engage enough or conform to their social interactions, then their legitmate review of our company will be flagged as UNRELAIBLE OR UNUSEFUL. That is discriminatory. They are a Review Site for people to post reviews.
REASON 8
According to their guidelines, Yelp controls the right to post a review if ther review is over positive! Over posotive? So if one of my super happy clients wants to rave about their Mercedes with Jet Doors, they will not post it because is too over positive? That is insane! No wonder why our rating is down to 1 Star on Yelp! People love limousines. They stand up through the sunroofs! They dance in the buses! They drink wine and laugh alot! And their reviews get banned if they are too happy! or (What is the woke word? Over posotive?)
REASON 9
According to their guidelines, Yelp controls the right to post a review if the review is too "biased". What if the person believes strongly about their opinionated review? Isnt it their review of the company that makes it a unique review? Maybe they are biased towards a driver because they love him? Once again, discrimenatory. According to their discretion, they won't allow my clients to post an honest review!
REASON 10
According to their guidelines, Yelp controls the right to post a review, if they think it is not HELPFUL. So my clent leaves 5 Stars and just puts the word BEST OF THE BEST, but gets rejected becuase it didnt HELP anyone?
REASON 11
After we stopped advertising with Yelp back in maybe 2016, they put on our listing that we were OUT-OF-BUSINESS! That was the first time the thought crossed my mind that a class action law suit should be filed agaisnt this company. This company has issues. For some reason I thought they were a highly professional multi million dollar corporate establishment. So didnt think for a second we coudl be a targeted company or others could be targeted by them.
REASON 12
This full control over the honest opinions of our clients views, on our company, goes against the 1rst Amendment, The Freedom of Speech.
REAOSON 13
Unless you pay extra money to them, when they give you a private page for your company, they post several other companies, who are your competitors, right on your own personal page! Literally, trying to take your potential client and do anything they can, to make the client NOT BOOK with you! Who does this? But if you pay them, they will remove your competitions ads on your page? Is it really just about MONEY to them?
IN CONCLUSION
Maybe we will start paying to advertise again on Yelp. Maybe we won't. Maybe we will join other companies in a Class Action Lawsuit Against Yelp. Maybe we won't.
